Mindset Hypnotherapy

‘Nurturing optimism, resilience and growth’

What is hypnosis?

  • Hypnosis is a state of deep focus or deep relaxation. Similar to daydreaming or intense focus, it is a very natural state to be in which all of us go in and out of many times a day, for example when driving a regular route and not remembering part of the journey.
  • When used as a form of therapy clients are aware of their surroundings and maintain free will throughout hypnosis and are in control the whole time.
  • Hypnotherapy is a very natural, safe and powerful form of therapy as it accesses the subconscious mind as well as the conscious mind. It is backed by neuroscience helping to rewire the brain by creating and strengthening positive neural pathways.

What is solution focused hypnotherapy

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy(SFH) is a therapeutic approach incorporating particular psychological techniques such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy(SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT) and Neurolinguistic Programming(NLP) with hypnosis.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy focuses on helping clients to make positive changes by emphasizing solutions rather than focusing on problems, so we don’t dwell on the past or the problems. This approach supports clients to envision their desired future and identify steps to get there, encouraging a positive future-focused and goal orientated mindset. This creates possibilities to enable healthy new patterns of behaviour and creates positive pathways in your brain. Guided hypnosis is used at the end of the session to access the subconscious mind helping to reinforce positive changes, promoting deep relaxation and increased focus and motivation. It can be used to successfully treat many concerns and issues and often requires fewer sessions than traditional therapy as it concentrates on achievable goals to each individual and measurable progress, enabling you to get the very best out of yourself, allowing you to cope so much better with whatever you have to deal with.
